@Rich – and capable of talking to herself almost non-stop, it seems.
Still loving the art, but methinks half to most of these panels could have been ‘silent’ for exactly the same effect. Actually, probably a stronger one. A little extra editing never goes astray. Despite my bitching, I look forward to more aardehn.
@Buddha – I disagree. It’s Aveenda’s self-dialogue that makes her seem more normal compared to her fellow pro/antagonists. Just think of it as her thoughts printed out loud rather than speaking.
I also think this could have gone almost completely without text. Especially panels 2,3,4. But then again *shrug* … maybe she’s just that kind of weirdo.
It’s cool how we can only see parts of the decapitated monster in panel 5. That supports the idea of her ignoring it. Plus I like that you only use red for blood. And I like that drawer.

I like this woman/elf. She seems relatively innocent and well-adjusted compared to everyone else.

@Belladeer — Agreed. And yet still capable of looking after herself, which is refreshing.
