Hey all!

I am off to San Diego for the comic con. Plus, I moved this weekend, so I will not be posting this monday or next. Aardehn returns Monday, August 3rd. My apologies for the delay, but I am just too swamped to get a page out and I don’t want to rush it.

Anyways, if anyone is heading out the the comic con, please stop on by the Udon and Capcom booth, where I will be signing and sketching for fans!

Just got back from MoCCA. It was an interesting show and I had a blast as always. A lot of people came to the tables to check out the artwork and talk about different things. Definitely looking forward to next year but hopefully this time there will be some better ventilation!

Big changes coming to Aardehn in the next couple of months as we wrap up this chapter in the next few pages and move forward into chapter 3.

Hey everyone. I am extremenly busy this month and April doesnt look much better. I have big plans ahead but I am completely swamped at the moment. Please stay tuned as I do plan to post newer pages from time to time until I can get into a normal schedule. Thanks for stopping by:)!

Hey all! Things have been insanely hectic for me but I do plan to attend the NYCC. I’ll be walking around this time with no booth to sit at, but looking forward to seeing whats there as I have never been before.

Aardehn has been slow and I apologize, but life is deciding to throw curve balls at me, again. I just cant believe how things unfold sometimes, completely out of my control. Anyways, I’ll be back at it shortly and plan to deliver that 50 page mark this month.
I believe I jumped the gun somewhat, thinking I could cram out so many pages in such short time. I also began to feel like I was rushing it and I always told myself, that if I ever feel like this is becoming a job, I have to stop and take a breather and remember why I’m doing it in the first place.

Anyways, looking forward to seeing how this year shakes down as January has been one hell of a ride!

Thanks again for all the people who stick by me through my excuses and delays… you are the inspiration to continue:)

Hey all:). I apologize for the recent lack of posts. I am overly swamped with things at the moment and foresee the christmas holidays slowing me down even more. Just wanted to give an update.

In a few weeks I will be back on track and still playing the catch up game. February 1st is my 50 page goal, so I plan to hit that mark! Anyways, thanks for all the support and I look forward to 2009 with alot more Aardehn to come.

First off, I just want to say thank you to everyone who consistently visits aardehn.com. You have no idea how much it inspires me to continue on. A big cheers to you all!

Secondly, I was recently plugged on Kukuburi, an online comic from my friend Ramon Perez, and got quite a few comments regarding my latest post and the comic in general. After reading them, I realized that I needed to clarify some things.

-Yes, I am still here:).
-I try to post once a week, usually more if time allows.
-The date I attribute my posts/pages to is for Friday of each week.
-I am trying to get caught up to the current week but I am about 7-8 pages behind as I let some weeks slip a few months back when I first started this weekly posting back in February. Hence the dates being older. (it also reminds me to work harder to catch up!)
-The story is massive and will include ALOT of characters but I started with Celeste as she is the one who I ultimately built Aardehn around.
-I am not a writer and struggle each day with my art, but I vow to improve on both for as long as I am able to. (please stick with me;))
-When I do get caught up to the current week, I plan to make a weekly post for each Friday.

Ok, I think that about covers it all. I have also created a Facebook group which you can join as well. Each time I post, I send out an email to all who are in said group, letting them know i’ve posted:). Here’s a link – Aardehn.

Anyways, I hope that clarified any questions in peoples mind. The feedback and comments you all give me are so helpful and keep me focused on trying to deliver a good product with each page. Some pages work better then others, but I love doing it and having you all on board really makes it that much more worthwhile. Thanks again all and see you in Aardehn!

This past weekend wraps up my summer insanity. I attended my good friend Mike Roberts wedding in New York and it was a blast. I wish him a lifetime of happiness and joy with his beautiful wife.

So having returned I need to get back to posting. I plan to post page 26 this week and get back to two posts a week hopefully.

Back home finally! San Diego was amazing and so was Vancouver. I got to meet alot of people at the con and had a blast drawing and signing books for everyone. On top of all that I got to meet some of my favorite artists… Joe Madureira, Travis Charest, Jason Scott Campbell and Adam Hughes.
I picked up a few sketchbooks, bought some t-shirts and drank alot of beer:). Anyways, next stop is the Toronto Con. I hope to see more of you out there again!
